Remember that cosmetics shouldn’t last forever. It is probably not a good idea to use that old tube of lipstick you found in your desk from three birthdays ago. The following is a good a rule of thumb for how long makeup can be stored:
Lipstick: 1 year
Eye makeup: 3 months
Blush: 6 months
Nail polish: 2 years if stored properly
