Chamomile can be used to make your blond hair even blonder and brighter. Add chamomile flowers to boiling water and let them steep. Then, strain the water, let it cool, and apply it to your hair after it has just been shampooed. Rinse it out after about 30 minutes and your hair will have a lighter, brighter shine. Wear a pretty flower in your hair. It will give you a sweet and flirty look and it smells good too.

Take about one cup of mayonnaise and put it in your dry hair. Massage it through your scalp and then leave it in for 15 minutes before shampooing. This trick will get you super-soft hair. (Passport to Beauty by Shalini Vadhera).

Skip the skinny jeans and opt for an empire waist maxi dress so you can more thoroughly enjoy the turkey and pumpkin pie.

Smash a banana in a bowl and then slather the banana goo over your hair. Leave it in for 15 minutes before you wash it out. The potassium in bananas will strengthen your hair and fix the damage that hair dye and heat from the blow dryer and flat iron will do to your hair. (Passport to Beauty by Shalini Vadhera)

If you apply too much blush by accident don't worry about redoing all of your makeup, just brush a loose powder over the blush to neutralize the color and it will immediately fix your mistake.

Start your day off with a hot cup of tea with lemon. Tea is a better choice than coffee and will cleanse your system and rejuvenate you.

To brighten the whites of your eyes, use a navy blue mascara instead of your typical black.

Pair red lips with a soft bronzer instead of a blush. Too much red will look overwhelming.

Potatoes can be used to reduce circles around your eyes. Put a thin slice of potato over your eyelids for about 10 minutes. The light circles will fade and you will look awake and revitalized. (Passport to Beauty by Shalini Vadhera)

Olive oil works to sooth a sunburn. Apply it to your skin after you get a burn and your skin will thank you. I'm sure classic cartoon character Popeye kept his pale girlfriend, Olive Oil, out of the sun, too!

So Stacey did the deed, now its my turn...to be a Fekkai hair model. This Thursday, 10 am is D-Day. I am both eagerly and nervously anticipating the day that I part ways with my locks. I was a Fekkai model about a month ago, and it was a great experience. I mean what can be better than a free hair appointment? Last time, I wasn't so brave and I only got a blowout. It looked great, but I'm ready to be more daring...
So that's where all of you come in. I have no idea what to do to my hair! It's like hair 9-1-1. I kind of want to do something totally unexpected. People say that cutting your hair is cathartic. I'm not so sure if I believe that, but I know I'm sick of my hair's current state of affairs. It's time for a change! And I'm thinking it might be time to carpe diem. I mean, you only live once right? The beauty of hair? It grows! So maybe it's time I try that asymmetrical bob or something really edgy a la Posh or Katie Holmes.
Should I go short or stay long? My hair is naturally curly. It curls into ringlets that people like to play with all day long. But I like to keep it straight, and if I go short, I will definitely need to keep it straight, because who knows what it'll look like when it shrinks into curls!
I need your help! I want a cut that will make me look fierce. Do you guys have any ideas? I'm open to all kinds of suggestions!
Peace Out,
Lauren
