Loose Locks (Monique Coleman)
\r\nMake a deep side part, and sweep your front sections behind your ears (if you have bangs, keep those forward). Separate hair into two low sections on either side of your neck, and secure each with a thin hair elastic. Spritz a strong-hold hairspray all over (try VO5 Extreme Style Max Hold Hairspray, $4, at drugstores), and add a headband 2 inches behind your hairline.

\"High School Musical 2\" Hair: Ashley Tisdale

Twisted Tendrils (Ashley Tisdale)
\r\nWork a texturizing pomade through dry hair (try Redken Water Wax 03, $16, \r\ndrugstore.com), and tease your hair at the crown. Make a deep side part, separate hair into two low tails, and begin creating fishtail braids. Start by holding the right section with your right hand. Then, using your left hand, pick up a 1/8-inch chunk of hair from the outside of the left section and cross it over to the inside of the right section. Repeat on the other side: Hold the left section in your left hand. Use your right hand to pick up a 1/8-inch chunk of hair from the outer right section, cross it over to the inside of the left section. Continue picking up small sections and crossing them over until you reach the ends of your hair. Secure with an elastic.

\"High School Musical 2\" Hair: Vanessa Hudgens

Flirty Waves (Vanessa Hudgens)
\r\nStart by curling 1-inch sections of your dry hair with a ¾-inch-barrel curling iron (try Revlon Perfect Heat ¾” Professional Styling Iron, $15, at drugstores). Run your fingers through the curls to separate them, then make two low pigtail braids and secure with elastics. Add a thin headband, then pull out a few strands for a more carefree look.
