Well, we certainly had some big news since my last gossip report. If you haven't heard (you may live in a closet) poor Miss Paris Hilton has been sentenced to 45 days in jail, because she was caught driving with a suspended license (twice) after she was arrested for DUI. Although she probably will get out of serving time somehow because she is a "star," I think it's important that celebrities don't get special treatment just because of their status. I just don't get why Paris doesn't have a driver pick her up and chauffeur her around town. We know she certainly can afford one.

It is also being reported by TMZ that the L.A. judge who sentenced Paris, was given a standing ovation when he went to church the following Sunday. So weird.

Britney Murphy eloped with her screenwriter boyfriend, says Perez. Just eight months ago, she was engaged to another man. I feel like that girl is always engaged to someone, but this is her first actual marriage.

So we have a couple of arrests to report&mdash Pete Doherty (Kate Moss's boyfriend) was arrested for drug possession again, says Perez. Ty Pennington, of "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition" fame, was arrested for DUI, says dlisted. Have you ever seen the card deck that has all the celeb mug shots on it? Well, it seems that 52 cards may just not be enough anymore.
