Vampires Make Great Prom Queens

Ashley Greene, also known as Edward Cullen's psychic sis Alice in the mega-series Twilight, stopped by Saks Fifth Avenue in NYC last Saturday to support a great cause: Donate My Dress. Ashley and DMD were collecting your fabulous prom dresses to pass onto other girls who are short on cash. Given the ongoing economic crisis, it looks like a lot of us will have to jump on the recessionista bandwagon.

After hanging out with the one Cullen you wouldn't bet against, there are a few things you can bet on now. First, Ashley Greene is the most adorable vampire I've ever met. (That includes you, prepubescent Kirsten Dunst.) She's also supersweet (i.e. she signed one woman's paper gingerbread man for her 6-year-old grandson), accommodating (she signed countless copies of the Twilight books, a few posters, and even one DVD — who leaked it??), and has a sincere laugh that made even the shyest fans step right up and hug her.

Regrettably, I decided to leave my official Alice Cullen Fan Club tee at home. Yes, I really do own one. However, there were quite a few CosmoGirls at the event who were decked out in Twilight gear. I particularly appreciated the three besties who showed up in their "I don't want to be a monster" hoodies. Ladies, if you're reading this, let me know where I can get one.
