Creative Prom Invites

Prom ask-someone-to-prom is just around the corner (as if you didn't know), and that means people have started looking for dates. I went to an all girls' school, so I had to ask a boy to be my date! A little untraditional, I know. Unfortunately, I didn't get too creative in the asking process, and only made a cake with the word "PROM?" on it with M&M’s. However, some of my friends got into it and thought up some really cute ways of asking their prom dates.

One of my friends gave her date a bowl of live gold fish with a note and said, "Out of all the fishes in the sea, I want you to go to prom with me!"

Another friend of mine put separate pieces of a puzzle inside multiple balloons. His date had to pop all the balloons and put the puzzle together, which, of course, invited her to prom when connected.

Still another of my friend’s dates dressed up as Aladdin and held up a sign saying, "Be my Jasmine at the prom?" when he saw her.

One girl made a deal with her date’s math teacher before class and got her to distribute a fake pop-quiz. Everyone besides her date got a piece of paper that said, "This is a joke, sit tight and be quiet!" while her date got a series of difficult math equations. The last problem said, "This quiz won’t count if you go to prom with me!" How creative! How cute!

Some simpler ideas are writing on his driveway or car, or even asking over the intercom at school — it all depends on how much effort you want to put in!

There are so many different ways to ask your date to prom or TOLO! I wish I had been more creative! What's the most creative dance invite you have seen? Give me your suggestions!
