It's Twilight Mania!

Note: If you’ve been living in a Volturi lair for the past two years and somehow failed to devour Stephenie Meyer’s addicting series, stop reading this blog and start on book one ASAP!

Breaking Dawn, the final chapter in the Twilight saga, hits bookstores Aug. 2, and Stephenie just announced she will be going on a mini-tour to promote the release! If you’re lucky enough to live near one of her scheduled stops and snag a $20 ticket, you can see Blue October’s Justin Furstenfeld perform live, get your book signed, and ask Stephenie your burning questions like "What’s Emmett’s story?", "When will Jacob finally imprint on someone and stop harassing Bella?", and "Do you know any real-life Edwards you can set me up with?"

Twilight confession #5,788,093: I’m still obsessed with the Twilight trailer. The spooky music. The heartstopping rescue. That crooked smile. Mmm. While I was reading the books, I always pictured Edward as a Cedric Diggory-Chace Crawford hybrid. So imagine my excitement when Hollywood cast Mr. Hufflepuff himself, Robert Pattinson, as everyone’s fave 106-year-old vegetarian vampire in the film (out Dec. 12)! While I was a little crushed to see Kristen Stewart’s face replace the Ashley/Bella of my imagination, I think she’ll make a nice stand-in.

Oh, and after all the Breaking Dawn and movie madness, there’s still Stephenie’s next project, Midnight Sun, to anticipate!
