I don't usually like to blog about things that are sad and heavy but this week I simply couldn't not write about the senseless shootings at Virginia Tech. Calling the loss of 32 students a tragedy doesn't seem to do it justice. It's beyond words. How could something so terrible happen? Why didn't anyone stop that psycho-killer? I don't think we'll ever really understand it all. But I do hope, with all my heart, that the students at VT will be able to overcome this dark moment and go on to have the best college experiences of their lives.If there's anything positive that I've learned from this it's that I am super lucky to still have my college friends in my life. And I fully intend to spend this weekend showing all of them just how much I love and appreciate them. I know everyone at Virginia Tech is doing the same for each other. Stay strong Hokies!Now tell me, how have you been coping with the news out of Blacksburg, VA?
