britney is not fat, y'all!

One of the saddest things about the media overreaction to Britney's performance at the MTV Video Music Awards is the amount of people harping about how "fat" she looked. I thought she looked pretty good. She didn't have the hard body that she used to have, but she still looked sexy. But every blogger in the universe is calling her an "out-of-shape fat chick," or worse. No wonder these celebrities have self-esteem problems and eating disorders. Even Lily Allen, who's a tough-minded girl, blogged in May: "I write to you in a sea of tears from my hotel bed in Seattle, I have spent the past hour researching gastric bypass surgery, and laser liposuction." I found that so sad, because she's a really cute, average-size girl. It helps that she has her own fashion line and knows what clothes will flatter her figure. Maybe that was the problem with Britney at the VMAs. She doesn't need to lose weight — she just needs a really good stylist! Someone who can tell her what looks the best on her body type. Maybe she should check out Tim Gunn's new show! What do you think would look best on Brit-Brit's fuller figure?
