Colored Toilet Paper: Flushing Your Money Away?

I got a good laugh the other day when my brother-in-law, Speed (that's his nickname), forwarded me a blurb about colored toilet paper from Daily Candy. I'm not talking about TP with cutesy little flowers or designs on it. This is pure black, red, orange, and green TP, made by Renova, a Portuguese paper company.

So I wrote back to Speed, jokingly telling him I'd love to try it out. And whattya know, yesterday I receive a big box in the mail filled with black and orange toilet paper--just in time for Halloween! (Did my mention Speed has an awesome sense of humor?) Although I haven't, um, tested it out just yet, I can attest that this TP feels just as soft as your typical Charmin', but it's scented with an overpowering musky odor reminiscent of the cologne boys used to wear in eight grade. Ick.

OK, colored toilet paper is weird enough. But colored and smelly?

Um, this is one gift I may just have to flush straight down the toilet.
