this ain't a scene

Last week I was lucky enough to score an invite to Fall Out Boy's listening party for their new album "Infinity on High," which hits stores on February 6. What exactly is a "listening party?" Just a bunch of people sitting around listening to music? Yup, exactly. But when the music is as rockin' as FOB's new album, then it's a true party!

If you loved the last album, "From Under the Cork Tree," then you're going to be absolutely obsessed with "Infinity on High." It's more of FOB's trademark sounds, with an awesome ballad thrown into the mix.

And afterwards, I got to catch the guys perform in concert at Hammerstein Auditorium. The audience went nuts— and the guys didn't disappoint! They played a couple new songs, but by far my fave was still "Sugar, We're Going Down." Can't beat a classic like that!

What do you guys think of FOB's new single "This Ain't a Scene It's Just an Arms Race?" I have to admit, it wasn't love at first listen for me—but it's totally growing on me, and I'm starting to love it!
