sense and sensibility!

Dear sweet peas,

This Sunday night I plan to plant myself firmly in front of the tube to watch the conclusion of Sense and Sensibility. I can totally relate to Elinor Dashwood, the always proper, hides her feelings kind of gal. In some ways I'm a risk taker, but in other ways, I can pretty much let life drift by like a slow content ride. Things seem good? Don't rock the boat. Like Elinor, the heroine, I'd love to sometimes stop taking care of other people all the time so I can take better care of myself.

The Complete Jane Austen, a season-long airing of Austen faves, both old and new productions (Pride and Prejudice aired, as well as an old Emma starring Kate Beckinsale), will continue to play for a few more weeks. Check out the WGBH website here for more info!
