a day in the life of jenna dewan!

Morning- Press Day

Its the big day! This morning, at about 8am, I arrived at the Four Seasons hotel and started hair and makeup with my fabulous team. At about 10am, I walked into a suite down the hall and began the Television interviews. I sat in a chair for three hours while people from all different TV stations would come in and have 5 minutes to interview me. They asked me a lot of questions about how long it took to prepare for the acting and dancing, the director, and the chemistry between Channing, myself and the entire cast. At about 2PM, I went downstairs and interviewed with Entertainment Tonight and took pictures in the ET photo booth with Channing and Anne Fletcher (Our director)..so much fun!! After that was finished, it was onto radio and print interviews until about 3:15PM. As soon as we finished, I changed really quickly and rushed over to the taping of "So You Think You Can Dance!"

Afternoon- "So You Think You Can Dance"

I am such a big fan of this show so I was beyond excited to watch these amazing dancers perform! They were unbelievable! Channing and I arrived at about 3:55PM and were rushed to our seats where we sat with the amazing choreographers from the show like Wade Robson, Shane Sparks, Mia Michaels and Tyce Diorio. The judges were sooo nice to us and told us how much they loved "Step Up!" During the show (which is slated to air on Wednesday, August 9th), they are going to show footage of our premiere and shots of us sitting in the audience and cheering on the dancers. There is an amazing performance by Benji and Travis to look out for!

Night- "Step Up" Premiere and After Party

After the show, I rushed home to change and get ready for the premiere of "Step Up!" I had only 30 minutes to put on my dress and touch up my hair and make-up, I then jumped into a limo with my family and friends and arrived at the Arclight Cinemas around 6:30PM. As soon as I arrived and stepped out of the limo, I was blown away by how big the red carpet was and how many fans and showed up to support! I immediately went to sign autographs and take pictures with fans and then walked down the red carpet. The huge response from the press and the fans was unbelievable and really surreal! After the press line, we were rushed into the theatre for the movie which was really great because the crowd was clapping and dancing in their seats! They really loved it! As soon as the show was over, we walked to the after party and tore up the dance floor! The DJ was playing great music and we celebrated all night long! It was a perfect ending to a perfect day...
