I first joined the track team because of a guy, Eric. I liked him, he ran track, and so by joining my 6th grade team, I could see him 3 afternoons a week. It seemed like the perfect plan, until I realized that every other girl on the team was also crushing on him! We were all trying so hard to run with Eric that we became pretty fast ourselves—and started winning races. We were hooked, not on Eric anymore, but on sports.

Nike knows that playing sports is important to guys and girls. They have a great new program, Let Me Play, and will donate money to your team—for uniforms, playing fields, traveling— whatever you need to be all stars! If you could get anything for your team, CG!, what would it be? Tell us, and tell Nike by March 31st!
