peanut butter time

So I am absolutely obsessed with peanut butter. I was actually interviewing a nutritionist for an upcoming story in CG!, and I said something like, "Well, how about a girl who eats an entire jar of peanut butter in a couple days..." and the nutritionist interrupted me and said something which I know he meant to be totally harmless like, "Well what girl actually could eat an entire jar of peanut butter in that short amount of time?" Ummmm...me!!??!! I felt so stupid, but seriously, it's my favorite.

The truth is, the nutritionist was right, it's not good to eat so much of it, so I was very intrigued when I was shopping at Whole Foods this weekend and spotted Better 'n Peanut Butter, a peanut butter spread. It has 85 percent less fat and 40 percent less calories than real peanut butter. Yes, I was totally skeptical, but I bought it and popped it in my fridge (I like my peanut butter cold). So it's definitely not regular old peanut butter, but it's still so good! It kind of tastes like peanut butter taffy. It's still very smooth, but it's kind of sticky and a bit more difficult to spread. And since it's kind of sweet, I could never actually eat it all in one sitting, which is perfect for me!

So tell me, what's your favorite jelly? Mine's apricot which people say is also weird...so I like cold peanut butter with apricot jelly...and I'm proud of it! I can't wait to hear what you like, and tell me if you try this stuff because it's delicious!
