Pretty in Plum

I have a weird relationship with my electronics. Like whenever my laptop won't work for my friends I'm convinced it's because it knows that it's not me using it. It'll only behave when it's my fingers on the keyboard, right? Then there's my iPod. That bugger has caused me so much heartache. It's crashed on me twice for no apparent reason. I've lost thousands of songs and yet I still can't hate the thing. We belong together.

So just imagine how hard it was for me to get a new cell phone last week. I'd had my my little no-name-brand bar phone for four years. Sure it looked ancient and my friends laughed at it but we were a team. Then a few of the buttons stopped working and I had to break down and try something new. At first I thought I wanted to try out a Razr since everyone and their mother seems to have one. But I couldn't help but fall in love with a skinny-minny baby of a phone called the Samsung t509. When I say skinny I mean it's so thin that it almost disappears in my pocket. More importantly it's purple!

How many people with purple phones do you know huh? One. Me! (Okay maybe you know more people but humor me. Wink!) And now I'm pleased to announce that I'm happily commited to a new cellular relationship. Here's hoping it lasts as long as my previous one.
