prom dress crisis!

Finding a dress is ultimately one of the hardest aspects of prom. It requires endless hours of shopping, trying on numerous dresses and in the end ultimately picking just one dress. For me, I started filtering out dresses online and looking at different styles and colors to establish what I really wanted before dragging my mom to the store. I found my dress at Nordstrom.com; it was a Nicole Miller aqua knot-front dress. I knew from the second I saw it that this was the dress I wanted to wear for prom. When we finally got to the store I ran to the dress department and struggled to find the dress. I combed through many racks before asking the sales assistant where I could find the dress. She quickly replied, "The aqua pattern, it's right here, oh no it must have just been sold!" I was immediately let down and knew that no other dress in my mind could live up to this dress. The woman said it was available online but when I went online a backorder date of July 13, 2007 popped up. This was by far one of my biggest let downs about prom. I am still up in the air over what dress I will wear on June 7th but one thing is for sure, shopping isn't an easy task when you've already have an image of your "perfect dress."

I need your help, CGs! Any suggestions for finding a great prom dress in a short amount of time?
