home sweet (smelling) home

March 9, 2007 at 2:00PM by Katie Connor |

Seda France Scented Candles You know how everybody's house has a certain scent? If I could bottle the smell of the house I grew up in, it'd be two parts Mama's home cooking, one part old books, and a very, teeny tiny, hint of dog pee. (Hey, don't judge. Even when you clean it, it never goes away!) I knew I couldn't recreate that smell in my own apartment but it's always been important to me that my home not only feel nice and cozy but smell nice too (like me!). I prefer candles to aerosol sprays for room deodorizing (better for the enviro, you know?) and one of my favorite boutiques in Brooklyn burns these yummy ones from Seda France all the time so I decided to get some of my own. French Tulip is my fragrance of choice for keeping my house smelling like eau de delicious!

How do you keep your room smelling lovely?

Heart,

Katie
