Why Do Girls Dress So Sexy on Halloween?

October 30, 2006 at 12:00PM by Jennifer Goldstein |

OK, I admit it: I sometimes use Halloween as an excuse to dress up suggestively and wear sexy hair and makeup. But, last year some of the costumes I saw were just plain-old tacky. So, just to clarify, I'd like to point out some of the ridiculous accouterments that go along with Halloween costumes, but should not:

NURSE I've been to hospitals. The don't wear fishnets. They don't wear bright red lipstick. And they don't have zip-up dresses that show cleavage.
DEVIL I've not been to hell, but I am pretty sure Satan doesn't wear fishnets either.
CAT I don't have a cat, but my friend does...and it doesn't wear false eyelashes or a leotard.
WITCH In literature, they tend to have green skin and long capes, rather than liquid eyeliner and miniskirts.
ANGEL I haven't been to heaven... But, again, I doubt angels wear fishnets.

So, in conclusion, be more original and a little less sexy this year.

Now, tell me your favorite costume ever!
XO,
Jenn, beauty & fitness editor
