spinning obsession

I have to admit, I've never been one of those girls who loved to go to the gym. I hate running. I get bored of machines and if I'm too tired, I just won't make myself go. But I can proudly tell you that I think I finally found the perfect exercise for me--I'm absolutely obsessed with spinning (in-door cycling). I've been going to classes for the past three months, and for the first time ever, I'm actually excited to go to the gym.

I've always been scared of classes because I wasn't sure I'd be able to keep up with everyone else around me. But now that I've gone, I realize that fear was all inside my head. No one (and really, no one) even looks at what I am doing. The only person who ever pays any attention to me is the instructor, which is how it should be. I don't know why I was so scared to compare myself to everyone else, but I'm glad I conquered that fear. I think I love the class so much because the instructor really gets me motivated to push myself. I feel so unbelievably good afterward, it gets me ready for the rest of the day.

Now I want to try other classes, like kick-boxing, weight-training and yoga. What are your favorite things to do at the gym? What gives you your best workout? I'm not giving up spinning, but I'd love to add something new to my gym list!
