david cook wins!

So yes, I was very happy when Ryan Seacrest announced that David Cook won American Idol. After my post last week, I was surprised to see how many of you also wanted David Cook to win. I had a feeling that David Archuleta was going to win by a landslide, but you all seemed pretty split down the middle, which gave me new hope that David Cook could win.

But honestly, both Davids are so talented, and as cheesy and cliche as it sounds, I knew they would both end up winning in some way — I know they're both going to have very successful careers post-Idol.

So, what did you think of the finale show last night (my favorite performances were Carrie Underwood singing "Last Name," and Carly Smithson and Michael Johns singing "The Letter").
