As much as I love talking about Britney, it's time for the other Spears sister to have some time in the spotlight. People confirmed that Jamie Lynn Spears had her baby girl today. The baby, Maddie Briann, was born at 9:30 am with the entire Spears clan in the hospital. We wish Jamie Lynn and boyfriend Casey Aldridge the best of luck – teen parenting is not an easy thing. But, congrats!

Following up on the endless Jessica Simpson saga, OK! is reporting that Jessica got confused for (drumroll, please) Tony Romo's ex, Carrie Underwood. Apparently, a fan walked up to Jess and couldn't stop talking about how much she enjoyed her on American Idol. Not only that, but the fan asked how Jess was holding up after her break-up with Chace Crawford. Now, I don't know what it's like to be mistaken for a boyfriend's ex, but something tells me that has to sting a little.

Looks like Coldplay might be getting into some hot water. According to Perez, an underground band called the Creaky Boards is claiming that Coldplay's new song, "Viva La Vida," lifted the melody their song (ironically titled) "The Songs I Didn't Write." The Creaky Boards made a video comparing the two songs and are even claiming that they saw Chris Martin at one of their shows in 2007. Coldplay reps are denying the allegations but take a listen and judge for yourself!
