We've already told you about one way you can give back this holiday season, but now we've got an even easier one!
Volcom has teamed up with the National Coalition for the Homeless to help provide clothing for those who really need it this holiday season.

Every weekend I tell myself I am not going shopping. I have an internal struggle every Saturday morning to stay firmly planted on my couch instead of one foot out the door to the millions of stores outside my apartment.
But when my purchases go towards a good cause, I feel less guilty about my purchase and more satisfied that I did something that helped someone else. That's why I will have no guilt if I decide to purchase this hand knit pashmina scarf. Tonic, a leading media site and the Citta Himalaya Women's Center have teamed up to help support the new Jaisalmer Women's Center in Rajasthan, India.
The program is called, $100 for 100 Women in Need, and when you buy this scarf your purchase will help 100 women who really need it. Each scarf has Sanskirt phrases embroidered by Himalayan women that they feel are important. Pick from scarves that Scarlett Johansson wore (her chosen word is "reuse"), Queen Latifah, Sting, and many other celebs fighting for this cause.
The scarf can be purchased on Tonic.com starting today, Nov. 11.
Have you ever bought something for charity?

Nicole Richie has two new babies to add to her growing family, but only one is actually a living, breathing newborn. She and Good Charlotte rocker boyfriend Joel Madden just gave birth to son Sparrow James Midnight Madden and now, she has a new fashion line launching this spring.
Richie's new line, called Winter Kate will add to her House of Harlow accessory line and her Nicole for A Pea in the Pod maternity line. This line, named after daughter Harlow's two middle names (so cute!) will hit stores including Neiman Marcus, Saks Fifth Avenue, Bloomingdales, Ron Herman, Intermix, and Kitson starting in February.
Winter Kate will have lots of tops, vests, leather jackets, and maxi dresses, all of which Richie is known for wearing. All pieces are vintage inspired and will have an assortment of solids as well as prints. We are hoping there will be lots of Richie's favorite animal print, peacock!
Prices range from $35 for a cami to $110 for dresses. To get more boho ideas for this season check out how we dress boho for fall.

Eco-gear has just been taken to a whole other level. Now you can show your love for Mother Earth on your butt! A Lot to Say has an eco-friendly line of undies that are made from recycled plastic bottles. Each pair of undies uses a No Water Dye process, while having some key green facts about the Earth.
By choosing from LOVE, VIRGIN, CONNECT, HOT, TAP, and TURN ON, you can wear some important political and green facts that need to be recognized. For example, the LOVE undies come with eco tips, like "LOVE the planet, lose the plastic. Only 3% of plastic is being recycled. The rest winds up buried in landfills and can take between 200 to 400 years to degrade."
Go green with our A Lot to Say Undies Sweepstakes, and you could win a prize pack of them today!
What do you do to stay green?

Yesterday Nintendo kicked off the launch of their new game Style Savvy with a huge fashion challenge at JCPenney! The Style Savvy "Fashion Fest" challenged mothers and daughters to put their shopping skills to the test by creating a unique look on a budget.
While the teams raced to the racks, we had some time to chat with one of the event's runway judges and fashion designer Charlotte Ronson about her mother daughter shopping experiences! Not only does Ronson have her I Heart Ronson line at JCPenney, it's also one of the 10,000 fashions available in Style Savvy's virtual boutique. Check out what she had to say below.
CosmoGirl: Did you get your fashion genes from your mother?
Charlotte Ronson: I think so. Being twins (with DJ sister Samantha Ronson) we were always dressed the same but she made sure we were able to find our own identity. I loved to wear pink but when I was in trouble she would make me wear blue! My mother never wore full outfits, she always stood out by mixing and matching. Her thing was always asking "Do you love it?" Whenever we would go shopping she would always ask my sister and I if we loved what we were trying on. I was always so indecisive so I'd go home without anything and my sister would go home with everything.
CG: Did your mom ever buy you something that was just hideous?
CR: Oh yes! We all got matching horrible ski jackets. They were a gross green color and overstuffed. We all got one so we could match. There was a lot of matching going on in my family back then.
CG: What is the best shopping tip your mom gave you?
CR: She was never about labels. It was always cooler to find something special and unique.
CG: What is one staple you think all girls should have hanging in their closet?
CR: I think it depends on the person. For me, I'm a more casual person so it's about a great coat and then that will dress up the rest of the outfit.
For more information on Style Savvy, which hits stores Nov. 2, visit Nintendo.com or StyleSavvyDS.com

Barbie looks great for her age! The doll is turning 50 this year and to celebrate, she's getting herself a pair of Louboutins!
Designer Christian Louboutin will be working with Barbie in her 50th year to unveil three new Barbies with tiny pink Barbie shoes with a signature red Louboutin heel. These are the same heels that were featured on models at New York Fashion Week in February (those were not Barbie-sized).
In addition, Louboutin will work with Mattel in the release of a jewel thief Barbie this December, Sarfari Barbie in February, and a Cannes Film Festival Barbie in May. All dolls are $150 and can be purchased on BarbieCollector.com and Net-a-Porter.com. All collector Barbies come with three pairs of Louboutins and are delivered to you in a Louboutin box!

Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen are launching a new JCPenny line, hitting stores Nov. 6! The line will be a travel-themed clothing line called, Olsenboye with each collection dedicated to a different city.
This line will add to the twins other two lines, including The Row, available at Bergdorf Goodman, and Elizabeth James, available at Neiman Marcus. Mary-Kate and Ashley are also adding sunglasses under The Row label, with retail prices ranging from $325 to $390. As in Olsen fashion, you can expect these shades to be big, bold, and beautiful!
Though we'd love a pair of sunnies like the Olsen twins, Olsenboye is definitely more in our price range, ranging between $20 and $50.
Will you be buying something from Olsenboye?

She's a wiz at Waverly Place and now is quickly becoming a fashion wiz as well! Wizards of Waverly Place star Selena Gomez is launching her first fashion line for fall 2010 called Dream Out Loud by Selena Gomez.
She told WWD that starting a fashion line has always been a dream for her and now, it's becoming a reality. "Growing up in Texas, I was sort of close-minded and kind of a tomboy, but as I've traveled, I found such a love of clothes. Its really always been a dream of mine to have a line."
Dream Out Loud will be a pretty, feminine line full of bohemian styles in floral printed tops, dresses, accessories, and more. The line will also be eco-friendly, using organic cotton and recycled fabrics.
No word yet on what stores the line will pop up in, but we can't wait to see it! Boho style is a huge trend for fall, and we know Selena's line will be super cute!
Are you excited for Selena Gomez's line, or do you prefer an edgier line like Avril Lavigne's? Tell us your thoughts below!

Living in New York, my wardrobe (and credit card bill) has expanded quite a bit. I find myself always in the mood to shop, probably because you can't walk more than two blocks without running into some kind of store.
Along with shopping way more than I should, I have recently found myself more willing to try trends I previously thought I hated. Case in point, the blazer trend. Blazers have never looked that great on me, and to be honest any time I tried one on I felt like I should be getting ready to go on an interview. But lately, with the slew of new styles that have come out, I find myself being drawn to the blazer.
I purchased this Topshop blazer last weekend and am obsessed with it! Though it was a bit more on the pricey side, it's in a color you can wear with almost anything, making it an investment piece that I can wear for several seasons. If you had told me a year ago I would be wearing a boyfriend blazer out on the weekends, I would have never believed you.
Is there a trend you thought you hated and now loved? I want to hear about it! Post below and tell me about a trend you went from hating to wearing.
xoxo,
Colleen
