can't forget forgetting sarah marshall!

I have to admit, I was a bit surprised to see that Jet Li and Jackie Chan had the number 1 spot at the box office this weekend with The Forbidden Kingdom. Why, you ask? Well, I'm not sure about where you live, but for the past month here in NYC, you can't look anywhere without seeing posters that read "You really do look fat in those jeans, Sarah Marshall!" or "I'm so over you, Sarah Marshall!" I thought it was great advertising (at least, I remembered the ads!). It totally built up hype so this weekend, I was psyched for the opening of Forgetting Sarah Marshall, the newest addition to the "disaster-romantic comedy" genre.

The film stars Jason Segel as Peter and Kristen Bell as the title heartbreaker (you can read more about Kristen in CosmoGIRL’s! latest issue!). Kristen plays a media savvy mean girl who dumps poor Jason. He then heads to a beautiful resort to forget his ex — only to find she's there with her new boy toy! Plenty of slapstick humor and comedy ensues.

Jason Segel is no stranger to the Hollywood scene — you might remember him from Knocked Up or currently on "How I Met Your Mother." The cast also includes super cute Mila Kunis from "That '70s Show,” who I always love. Overall, the movie is definitely worth seeing — even if there are a couple of gross-out humor moments.
