Good Guys are Hard to Find

So here's the answer. Over the past two months, I learned that with a great guy...

...EVERYDAY IS AN ADVENTURE. Even a night in or a trip to the park turns itself into the next morning’s story. One night we decided to climb onto Max’s rooftop with picnic blankets and stay up, mapping out the city skyline. A few weeks ago, he dared me to climb an enormous rock in Central Park in my patent leather open toed flats and vintage dress, staying close behind me to make sure I didn’t slip. (And I did it!)

...THE MORE, THE MERRIER. A great guy will introduce you to his circle of friends, and be excited to meet yours. When my best friend, Amy, met Max she gave me the best friend seal of approval (first because of the way he makes me smile, and second, because he is the first guy who is actually taller than me when I wear heels!).

...YOU ARE HAPPY AND YOU KNOW IT. Really! In past relationships, I would convince myself that I was happy just for the sake of being in a relationship, when truthfully I was bored and settling for less. With Max, I don’t have to wonder, because everyday he gives me another reason to feel special--whether it's a home-cooked dinner, a new fall dress from Marc by Marc Jacobs, or a kiss on the cheek before I leave for work. In this city life of mine where every second I have is penciled into a schedule, Max never fails to surprise me. And I wouldn’t have it any other way!
