stay sunny with these...

My friend Steph got sunburned at the beach this weekend and was pretty miserable about it. I took her to the drugstore and showed her my favorite sunburn solutions- I figured I’d share them with you guys too!

First and foremost: sunscreen is the only real way to prevent a burn. I usually burn even while wearing SPF, so I’ve searched for a great one with which I can still get color without the redness. I absolutely swear by Australian Gold Spray Gel SPF 30 with Instant Bronzer . It smells so good, isn’t sticky or greasy, and actually has a bronzing formula in it (but not so much that it comes out streaky on your skin, it just gives you a deeper tan)!

But for people who forgot to pack their lotion, Banana Boat Aloe After Sun Lotion has aloe AND vitamin E that not only keeps your skin from peeling but hydrates and calms your skin - which also makes your tan last!

My lips always get chapped and burnt from the wind and sun at the beach, so I use the best stuff: Blistex Lip Balm - SPF 30, Sun & Cold . It’s waterproof, so it stays on in the water, and prevents your lips from getting dry in the sun and burning (which really hurts, trust me)!

Lastly, I always feel like my hair is dry and fried after a day at the beach, so a deep conditioner works wonders.
