Depp Strikes Again

Johnny Depp is at it again - working with his partner-in-crime, Tim Burton! Depp and Burton have worked together in classics such as Edward Scissorhands and Big Fish. In 2005, they shocked the world with the re-make of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory by making the film much more dark and thrilling than the original 1970's version. Burton claimed to make the movie more relevant to the book, which could explain some of the eerie scenes and details!

In 2010, Burton's newest film Alice in Wonderland will be released, created to, once again, match the original fairytale rather than the sweetened up Disney version. Depp will be staring in the film as the Mad Hatter, working alongside actors such as Anne Hathaway, who will be playing the White Queen! The film has a dark edge and will definitely be loaded with shocking twists. With Burton's imagination and fascinating ideas, we don’t know what to expect!
