Girl Listening to Music on an MP3 Player

On a typical day on my way to work, I select “shuffle songs” on my iPod to see what comes up. Normally, I hit next about a dozen times until I find a song I’m in the mood to hear, but this morning, every song that came up seemed perfect. That got me thinking — was it because of the beat or because the lyrics seemed to make sense for what was happening in my life right now? So, CG!s, do you think it’s the music or the lyrics that make you fall in love with a song? And, tell me what 10 songs you are listening to today.

Here are mine:

1. The Monroes: "What Do All the People Know"
2. Hilary Duff: "Stranger"
3. Thompson Twins: "Hold Me Now"
4. Imperial Teen: "Yoo Hoo"
5. Joan Jett: "Bad Reputation"
6. Leona Lewis: "Bleeding Love"
7. Fall Out Boy: "Saturday"
8. The Church: "The Unguarded Moment"
9. Coyote Shivers: "Yours Truly"
10. The Raveonettes: "Candy"

And just because, here's my fave YouTube.com video of the day. They disabled the embed function, otherwise I would have put it in here. Sorry!

Plus, what’s your cell ringtone? Do you change it often to fit your mood, or is it based on the song-of-the-moment that you’re really into?

xoxo
