I love random couples — and it seems like a lot of them these days have quite an age difference. The newest one to emerge is former Friend Matthew Perry and former pop star Mandy Moore, says Dlisted. Mandy is 27 and Matthew is 38, which is not as drastic as Ashley Olsen and Lance Armstrong, but still a bit of a strange couple.

So, Britney’s mom is taking the blame for her daughter’s crazy behavior, says TMZ, while others close to her believe it is because of some sort of mental condition. Lynne says she didn’t raise her kids to have Hollywood careers, and it all exploded in her face. She wishes she had been there more for Britney on the road, but says she had her other kids to take care of. I just feel sorry for the whole fam.

Another family I feel sorry for is the Hogans. Nick was arrested for charges that were related to the car crash he was in this summer that left the other passenger with a broken skull, says Socialite Life. Apparently Nick was street racing when this happened and is now being charged with reckless driving, having illegal window tinting, being under the age of 21 and operating a vehicle with a blood alcohol level of .02 percent, and using a motor vehicle in commission of a felony. Wow, I really do feel sorry for the family, and the families of everyone involved.
