“My parents love Mac,” she says. “If he and I don’t feel like going out, we just walk across the street to my parents’ house and grocery shop in their fridge.”

“It’s important that the person you’re with really understands who you are and lets you be you. [Mac] doesn’t try to change me or put me in a box,” she says.

On a surprise party Mac threw when she turned 22

“He woke me up at 7 a.m., and when I opened the bedroom door, there were balloons and decorations, a breakfast spread, and 30 of my closest friends. After I opened presents, Mac told us he had bought a spa day for all of my friends. And when I thought the day couldn’t get any better, he said, ‘We’re all going to Disneyland’—one of my favorite places ever! It was just the perfect day."

“My favorites are Project Runway, Top Chef, and—you’re not going to believe this—Tori & Dean. I just want to hug Tori a little bit because I feel like I know her and she’s so sweet,” says Mila. “My stomach hurt the other night and Mac was like, ‘I know what will make you feel better.’ I’m thinking he’s going to bring me tea or Pepto, but he turned on TiVo and put on Tori & Dean. I lit up. I mean, who needs Pepto when you can have Tori & Dean?”
