reflection obsession

My boyfriend loves my sinuses. Yes, sinuses! You know, the ridges on the sides of your nose that lead to under your eyes. I can’t stand the way mine are pronounced and the way they look in pictures when I smile. However, I’ve made peace with them, along with my shapely thighs and vertically challenged height of five feet two inches.

Everyone has that one quirky feature that they learn to love over time. For some girls it might be ears that stick out slightly, a wide forehead, or a gap between teeth. I know that it can be tempting to obsess and become BFF with your magnifying mirror, but back away from it!

Even though you might notice all of these imperfections, odds are that most people don’t pick up on them, or they might even think they’re cute. As a matter of fact, it is often that one supposed flaw that everyone else admires the most about your appearance, CG!

For instance, take the modeling industry. Agents are always on the search for fresh new faces and unusual looks. Girls who previously thought their superlong neck was weird or that their too-big eyes made them look like a freak are now models because of that very trait they used to hate! Embrace what’s different about you and flaunt it, because that’s what makes you beautiful.
