Daily Gossip Roundup

Although we have gossiped about the Teen Choice Awards , we haven’t talked about one of the most important participants — Do Something nominee Pat Padraja, a 13-year-old boy who battled leukemia and beat the odds. Pat, a Latino, nearly died because he could not find a bone marrow donor. So he began Drive for Donors, a project to add more Latinos to the registry. So far, they have added over 8,000 new names and saved 3 lives. Lauren Conrad and Lo Bosworth from MTV’s The Hills were so taken with him that besides buying him an iPod and uploading their favorite songs, Lauren also gave a shout-out to Pat in her acceptance speech for Choice TV Female Reality/Variety Star and gave him the board later. She also presented him Do Something award that evening. Say what you want about The Hills drama, but Monday’s Teen Choice Awards really showed how sweet and caring this reality starlet is. I just read on Perez that in two different interviews given at different times, Selena Gomez and Nick Jonas have admitted to having an eerily similar first date experience! I wonder if it was the first date for the two of them? Read the interviews and tell me what you think. It sure seems like they’re both describing an evening together. If the rumors are true, this might just be the cutest pop-music pairing in the (Disney) world!
