I have some exciting news!! We just met with Amanda Bynes at the preview for her new collection, which is called dear BY Amanda Bynes. It's super cute and will be sold at Steve and Barry's stores starting August 16th. Amanda's grandma used to call her dear, so that's how she came up with the name. The way Amanda describes her Dear Girl sounded very similar to you CosmoGIRL!s--dear is about girls who are "playful and entertaining, they accessorize their attitude, and allow their personalities to shine through"--and that's why we wanted to team up with her on something. So, we at CosmoGIRL!, along with Steve and Barry's stores, are giving you the chance to be one of two fashionistas who'll win a dear Girl shopping spree at Steve and Barry's. Get this too--the spree will take place in New York City, and Amanda will be there, so you can compare shopping notes with her! So cool...right? To enter you have to write an essay saying why you're a dear girl. After the shopping spree, the winners will show off how they styled their purchases. (Just think--you can be your own Rachel Zoe!) They will get their pics taken, and we'll post those images on cosmogirl.com.
