shopping trends

I recently got back from a trip that I took to Orlando, Florida. When I was down there, I went shopping. I love to buy tons of trends for the season, or find something funky that you wouldn’t normally see other people wearing. Since Florida is far south of New York, it’s a LOT warmer! So, I bought cute navy blue Bermuda shorts and a TON of shoes. I like shopping for summer clothes more than winter things because I like wearing bright, summery-looking clothing more than the dark, not so bright clothes of the winter. I also really like shopping for jewelry, like more funky, beaded necklaces and bracelets.

Shopping is more of a bonding time with my mom and my aunt. Usually I go out with them because they’ll tell me the truth about how something looks on me. I have always loved to shop, and try to find new styles. If I see something that I like, and then go to school the next day and everyone is wearing it, I’m more likely not to buy it, and sometimes, I won’t even wear it! I guess you can say I like to set my own trends. Of course, I read a lot of fashion magazines to see what celebrities are wearing. I’m always interested in what other people are wearing, too!
