the quest for the perfect sneakers

I’ve rocked the same pair of blue vintage-looking New Balance sneakers for years, and I love them. But a few weeks ago when I was lacing up to go for a walk with my friend, I realized how worn out they actually are. Just like a messy breakup, I'm having a hard time saying goodbye to my sneaks, but I’m pretty sure if I don’t let go now, I never will. While I think I’m finally ready to move on, I have a problem: I can’t figure out what to move on to!

When it comes to sneakers, I’ve always picked a new pair by their look rather than their practicality (shows how athletic I am!), and I’m having trouble finding a replacement for my old kicks. I'm definitely a New Balance girl, but recently some other sneakers have caught my eye. I saw shoes that Scarlett Johansson designed for her new Scarlett Hearts RBK line in the June/July edition of CosmoGIRL!, and they look really cute! On last week’s episode of So You Think You Can Dance?, break-dancer Sara wore awesome Nike’s with a hot pink swoosh. Then there’s also the old school Saucony’s, which are available in tons of different colors. With all of these choices, what’s a girl to do?!

I’m in love with those hot neon-colored sneakers that I’ve seen everyone wearing recently, but I just can’t decide which pair is right for me! CG!s, I need your help! Which sneakers are the best for this season?? Hopefully with your advice, I'll finally find a pair that will motivate me to get to the gym!
