Sounds Good to Me

I don't know what I would do without music. I listen to my favorite songs when I'm driving, I workout with music, and I always have my iPod when I'm commuting to New York City from New Jersey. Music can cheer me up on a bad day, and there's always a song that's perfect for when I'm getting ready to go out.

I love to share music with my friends and go to shows. My freshman year of college, my roommate and I bonded right away because we had the exact same taste in music. If one of us found a new song or band that we liked, we would write it on a post-it and leave it on each other's desk. It helped us to get to know each other during those first few weeks of college.

I'll listen to pretty much anything as long as I'm in the mood. Right now I'm loving the new Jack's Mannequin album and I'm obsessed with Taylor Swift's single Love Story.

I also like finding new bands to listen to even if they're not that popular. Did you know that Ed Westwick from Gossip Girl is in a British rock band called The Filthy Youth? I love bands that have a unique sound like The Kooks or MGMT. I like that they have their own sound that's different from everything else.
