reruns rock...on dvd!

You know that slight sense of disappointment you get when your fave TV show comes on, and it turns out to be a rerun? Yet there's some shows that you just can just watch over and over (and over!) and never get sick of... and for me, one of my all-time faves has always been Full House. ;)

Yes, it starred Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen as tiny tykes. Yes, every episode ends a little too perfectly. But yes, there's just that feel-good fun you don't find on sitcoms today. And the fact that it's been on the air on everything from ABC Family to Nick at Nite to Disney Channel throughout the years, shows that apparently I'm not the only fan out there.

Needless to say, I was thrilled to find out that Warner Home Video was releasing the entire series on DVD, Full House: The Complete Series Collection... all 192 episodes, in a little box shaped like, what else? A Full House! Ha! (How cute is the packaging here?!)

My only problem with this is that whenever I start watching one season, I end up having to watch every episode, disc by disc...and there goes my entire day! (Right now, I'm in the middle of disc 4 of season 8...I can't remember how the series ended!)

But you just can't help but keep a smile on your face when you step into the Tanner family's lives... dealing with Danny's neat-freak streak, Joey's cartoony crazy antics, Jesse's too-perfect hair, DJ's smart-yet-vulnerable ways, Stephanie's stuck-in-the-middle troubles, and of course, Michelle's "You Got it Dude."

What TV series do you love to watch in reruns on DVD? (My other faves are Dawson's Creek, Brady Bunch, Boy Meets World, and Growing Pains....but Full House still tops them all!)
