victoria’s secret pj party!

Never in a billion years did I think I would be at a pajama party with the Victoria’s Secret Angels. But that, my friends, is exactly what I did last Wednesday night. Jill, the assistant beauty and fitness editor, and I attended the first ever Victoria’s Secret fashion show and pajama party that took place on a plane! Virgin America teamed up with Victoria’s Secret to host an in-flight pj party and fashion show that took place during a six-hour flight from New York to Los Angeles.

The pajama party officially began at New York’s JFK Airport. Jill and I knew we were in for something special when we walked up to the check-in counter and the passengers and Virgin America employees were standing there in colorful Victoria’s Secret pajamas! There were tables of food and drinks, dance music, free pj’s, and lots of photographers!

There we were, mingling with the other passengers, when two Victoria’s Secret Angels, Selita Ebanks and Miranda Kerr, arrived. They are just as beautiful in person as they are on TV and supersweet too! They welcomed us as we boarded the plane, and kept us all in party mode as they made overhead announcements and even danced up in first class! Selita and Miranda also dictated the pajama-themed fashion show as the models showed off the latest in Victoria’s Secret pj’s while strutting their stuff up and down the runway, or, uh, aisle. It was the most entertaining flight I’ve ever been on.

Toward the end of the flight, Jill and I were lucky enough to head up to first class for a quick interview with Miranda, and she gave us a few of her exclusive beauty tips for CG! readers!

1. She likes to keep her skin soft with Victoria’s Secret Strawberry Fizz Body Double Mist, which smells sweet and moisturizes skin. Her skin looked flawless.
2. She loves to use Victoria’s Secret Bare Bronze gradual self-tanner. She used it for a whole month before the VS fashion show!
3. She mists her face with Evian Brumisateur after applying bronzer to get that gorgeous model glow.

Even though our time in L.A. was short (13 hours!), it couldn’t have been sweeter — the laid-back California vibe is contagious, and to top it off we even had a brief Paris Hilton sighting outside of our hotel! Jill and I flew back the next day on a much quieter flight, knowing that we will never experience something like that again ... just another day in the life of a couple of CG!s!
