help disaster victims

Dear CosmoGIRL!s,

It's hard to sit around and pretend everything is normal when two massive disasters are affecting millions of people worldwide — in Myanmar, and now in China, where an estimated 18,000 are missing and another 12,000 are dead. These numbers will only rise.

Two great organizations could really use your donations. They're directly on the relief front lines (of China, that is; if only Myanmar's government would shake themselves out of this delusional place where they're rejecting world aid to hundreds of thousands of its starving and sick citizens). The Red Cross, which gives you a choice of where you'd like your funds to go, and Doctors Without Borders are both amazing. Let's give them our coffee money for the week (if you're under 18, see if your parents will!).
