The Elephant Festival held in Jaipur, Rajasthan, India, is an annual celebration where elephants who are elaborately decorated with paint, ornaments, and embroidered velvets walk down a runway and play polo and tug-of-war. They also compete in The Best Decorated Elephant Contest. The festival is celebrated in March during the Indian festival of colors, Holi.
