"Poppy is exactly what her name is. She is a very punky, high-energy character. She enrolled at Valemont because it is the most prestigious school in the country and she wants to go to the best of the best. As time goes on, some crazy stuff starts happening at the school, especially with her new roommate. She finally realizes she is at a school where vampires go to learn how to live in the world."

"When I read the script, I immediately wanted this to be turned into a film, it is genius! The whole cast was excited about the show and that it was on MTV because they have such a diverse set of followers. But it definitely was a challenge to get the character across in such a short amount of time. I had to create a whole scene and still be able to get a joke in, so that was definitely tough."
