SO YOUR MUSIC IS A MIX OF \'80S AND \'90S WITH ROCK AND ROLL, WHAT INSPIRED YOU TO CREATE YOUR UNIQUE SOUND?
\r\n
Basically it just came down to our influences. Each of us had our own different styles that we listened to growing up. Shawn for instance, our drummer, was big in the \'80s. And myself, I was big into \'90s; \'90s rock, like grunge and stuff like that. We tried to find a nice mix of styles. We all just love playing. We knew we wanted to be in a band. We searched for each other on craigslist. We\'re 100% craigslist band.

WHO DO YOU LOOK UP TO IN THE MUSIC INDUSTRY AND WHY?
\r\n
I would say my musical heroes are probably like Eddie Vedder from Pearl Jam; I listened to him growing up. Steven Tyler from Aerosmith, Kurt Cobain of course; a lot of the \'90s grunge-era artists. I listened to Led Zeppelin a lot. Yeah, that pretty much about covers it.

WHAT\'S GOOD AND WHAT\'S BAD ABOUT BEING ROCK MUSICIANS?
\r\n
I mean there\'s a lot of both I think. In this stage of our careers, because it\'s still early, it\'s difficult. I mean we all have our 9-5\'s and stuff and then we have the music and unfortunately we aren\'t at the point where we can drop everything and be full-time musicians. We\'re still trying to get the word out about Redshift, so that\'s difficult. We\'re constantly working; I mean every weekend we\'re out there pushing and trying to get the name out so it\'s hard work, it\'s just like a job. But then once we\'re out there, once we\'re on stage, once we\'re putting on our show, that\'s the best part about it. That\'s what we look forward to every week.

WHAT\'S THE MOST DARING THING YOU\'VE DONE?
\r\n
Well, for me it was probably getting up onstage the first time because I never thought I would be able to. I was always really shy and nervous around people and very introverted, and I had to push myself. I knew it was what I wanted to do and so I got up onstage no matter how nervous I was. I went up there and I sucked it up and did it anyways. I would say it was probably the most daring thing I\'ve done.

ARE YOU GUYS SINGLE OR IN RELATIONSHIPS?
\r\n
We are actually all in relationships, believe it or not. It takes some strong women to keep up with four guys in a rock band with our tour schedule and all our shenanigans.
