Emerson Watts would rather be playing video games with her best friend, Christopher (who she secretly wishes was more than a friend), than taking her younger sister, Frida, to a hip, new store opening to see her favorite teen stars. Maybe Em should have made that date with Christopher, because disaster strikes at the opening. Em and "It" model of the moment, Nikki Howard, end up in a very freaky accident that knocks Emma out cold. When Em wakes up, she finds out that her brain has been transplanted into Nikki’s body. Now, when she looks in the mirror she sees Nikki Howard — and there’s nothing she can do about it. If Em reveals the secret about the brain transplant, her parents will be smacked with a $2 million lawsuit!

How is Em supposed to finish school in another person’s body? Will Christopher ever realize that even though Emerson’s body is gone, she is still around? And how is plain, old Em supposed to adjust to life as a supermodel? Living someone else’s life sure does get complicated, and that’s without even mentioning the complex love square that develops.

Meg Cabot delivers another charming and hilarious novel, chock-full of witty one-liners. I couldn’t put Airhead down, and I’m definitely going to reread it. Plus, one of the main characters is a loyal CosmoGIRL reader. It’s a definite must-read! As a huge Meg Cabot fan, I can’t wait for the next installment.
