adrian goes to the grand canyon!

Hi all! First off, here are the answers to some of your latest questions!

How do I feel about acting credibility with such crazy storylines? I have to say that people do take me seriously as an actor. I am an actor. Just because we have crazy storylines doesn't mean they don't take us seriously. Take a look at the Sci-Fi channel, none of it is real. Look at the show "Charmed," all the super heroes etc. None of it is real. But we as actors have to take what's written on the page and make it real. As an actor you can never judge what your character is thinking or saying. When I'm on stage I don't sit there and judge the stuff that comes out of Miguel's mouth. If we constantly judge, you as a viewer won't buy it. By having the crazy dialogue and scenarios we have on "Passions," and having to make it work and seem real, I think it trains us to become better actors. Look at the success Jesse Metcalfe and Justin Hartley have had. I think it says a lot about the talent on my show.

Who do I like to work with the most? You are going to kill me, but I really DO like working with all of them. Everyone is so different and I try to learn as much as I can from all of them. I've worked with Heidi the most and I have learned a lot from her. She's a great actress and a good friend.

Dream Co-Star? So many to pick from. But I'm going to say that Dustin Hoffman, Johnny Depp, and Robert Downey Jr. are at the top of the list.

Favorite TV Show? Entourage!

Shout-out: E-vana, you are nuts if you think I'll eat that!

Now on to tell you guys about my weekend. I got off work on Friday and one of my friends from home called me and said he was going to be in Vegas this weekend. His name is Roberto Aguilar and he is fashion photographer from El Salvador, currently working in London. Look out for him!! His website is being updated, but worth the wait - check it out at photoaguilar.com. We've been friends for almost 10 years.

I decided to fly out last minute on Saturday morning. It was only about a 45-minute flight and I got a great deal on Southwest. I got there at 8 a.m. and we went to have breakfast. We took a walk down the Strip and it was literally about 117 degrees in the shade! While we walked, we were talking about how cool it would be if we could go see the Grand Canyon. On a whim we decided to go for it and we took a helicopter tour of the Hoover Dam and then we went into the Grand Canyon where we landed inside just above the Colorado River. I was speechless the entire trip. It was unbelievable. I must say it is one of the most beautiful landscapes I have ever seen. Just a little fun fact for you guys, but did you know that with the amount of cement used to build the Hoover Dam you could make a highway that stretched from San Francisco to New York and back?! Think about how much cement that is! Crazy huh? The tour lasted about 2 hours. Following the tour was a long night ahead of us. Let's just say I didn't get much sleep this weekend. Luckily I have a couple days off this week so I can relax before taping again. I'm really excited too because my dad, brother, and sister are coming to visit me this week! Nothing like spending time with the family. Well that's it for now, look out for the next post.

Oh and my birthday is April 8 for those of you asking!
Cheers!
