Brooke's Holiday Gift Guide

I don't know about all of you, but I LOVE Christmas!!! This year my family and I appeared at the Hollywood Christmas Parade the weekend after Thanksgiving and I have been in full-blown holiday spirit every since! Paul Wall and I actually performed at the parade and we got to meet Regis Philbin, Nicollette Sheridan, Michael Bolton and Joey Lawrence! It's still so weird for me to think of myself as a "celebrity" — I get star struck just like everyone else haha.

The hardest thing about the holidays this year has been finding time to shop for gifts since I've been on the road so much for my Christmas show tour. Thank God for online shopping!!! I'm the type of person who puts a lot of thought into the gifts I give people so I like each one to be perfect! Usually I spend days wandering around the mall figuring out exactly what to give the people on my list, but this year I definitely didn't have that kind of time so I used all kinds of websites to find exactly what I was looking for.

Just in case some of you have a little last minute shopping to do I thought I'd give you some suggestions that may be helpful when buying for family or friends. The hardest person to shop for every year is my dad because he's SO particular, but, like just about every other dad, he loves gadgets and every time something new comes out he needs to have it ASAP. If you're really stuck with what to get your dad and he's into electronic gadget stuff then I think a gift certificate to a Best Buy or something is really great since then he can choose exactly what he wants! Moms, I think, are easier — they like girly stuff. My mom loves lotions and stuff to pamper herself so places like Victoria's Secret and Bath & Body Works are perfect!! My brother Nick is a hard one too, but the best suggestion I can offer for brothers and sisters is to think about what they like. Clearly Nick LOVES cars so this year I got him something for his car to use when he is drifting, but I can't say what in case he reads this haha. I also got some really cute things for my dancers!! I didn't want to get them all the same thing because they're each so different, but I think a really great gift for a friend is a picture in a cute frame.
