jason thompson, world traveler

Well hello everyone, hope all is well. Thanks for joining me on what is my very first blog, and thanks to Cosmo girl for having me. I'm writing you from about 8000 feet of elevation. I'm flying to Hawaii for the first time. Soap talk has invited me over to be a guest on their show, needless to say I said yes. Speaking of flying, I just got back from a two week vacation with my two friends and business partners Sal and Blair whom I own two bars with in Edmonton Canada called Halo and Redstar, also another friend of ours, Hubert joined us. Anyways, the vacation... we spent seven days in Barcelona, Spain, two days in London, England and three days in Paris. France. Yes I've been a little spoiled lately....

Barcelona has now become my favorite city in Europe. The people, the restaurants, the combination of old Spain mixed with new modern architecture was more than I expected. It was such a breath of fresh air and I would recommend a visit to anyone, young and old the city has something to offer for anyone. London was also great. My father was born in England so it was neat to see that culture. And Paris. What can I say, what an amazing city, but as of now my heart is with Spain. All in all we had the time of our lives.

A little back ground on me. I was born in St. Albert Canada to my mother, Louise and my Father Phil. I have two brothers; my older brother Chris is married to his wife Paula and they have two daughters Taylor and Brooklyn..my girls. I also have a younger brother Mark. I can't say little brother because he's 6'6 ½ tall so I have to stick with younger. Anyways, I'll save some for next time. I'll let you know how Hawaii was, between the surf and sushi I'll try to take a couple of pictures for you. My friend Brian is coming with me and he's a professional photographer so I'll get him to snap away.
