fashion, movies and more!
Hello again!
So last week I went to this fashion show called Fragmented Time, a compilation of different designers (including Arthur Mendonca, Pat McDonough, Thien Lee). It was really great! I really liked the concept of having two models come out at the same time-one wearing the 'runway' version of the look and one wearing the 'real way' aka. street version of the look. Sooo often you flip through fashion magazines and think "I would never, in a million years be able to find an occasion to wear that'" so this was pretty cool! I thought that the guys wearing suspenders were very cute, and the most of the girls looked feminine and ethereal which is perfect for spring!
I couldn't help but think of the movie "The Devil Wears Prada" when I was in the midst of the fashion world last week. If you have seen it, I am quite certain that you loved it, and if you haven't seen it - well I suggest you see it ASAP because....I am quite certain you love will love it!
Ooooh you know what other movie I recently saw? "Brokedown Palace", where Claire Danes and Kate Beckinsale star as two best friends on a freedom trip to Thailand. My mom watched it and insisted that I see it because I guess she was feeling motherly and wanted to give me a warning about trusting strangers....especially overseas.
Haha even though I am 19 I still feel like my mom thinks of me as a little kid - but I guess that will never change! It was a great story though, and if you plan on travelling check it out just in case you meet a cute stranger at a hotel with bad intentions...
This has somehow turned into the movie blog so on that note I'll keep going with it. I am filming a role in a movie where I have to speak with a Polish accent - well more like scream and fight with an accent but nonetheless that is going to be pretty fun.
Anyway, I should really listen to the dialect CD for that accent now, but as usual it was great talking to you!
xoxo
