SO WHAT ABOUT YOUR OWN MUSIC — WHICH SONG SHOULD WE ADD TO OUR PLAYLIST FIRST?

Brittany: I'm going to go with "Finding It Hard" just because it's one of our newest songs. I think it's just a different sound for us as a band.
Natalie: My favorite one on the record is probably "Echo."
Stacey: If I had a top two list, it would be "Echo" and "Finding It Hard." I also really like "One Way."
Isaaca: I'll pick "Runaway."
Jeremy: My favorite song on the album is "One I Love."
Brittany: Oh yeah, I forgot about that one!

YOU'RE TOURING WITH ROONEY — HOW DID YOU LAND A SPOT AS THEIR OPENING BAND?

Natalie: We were fans of their first record a long time ago. It's actually the first record that Jeremy ever bought.
Stacey: And the episode of The O.C. that they're on — that's the only episode of The O.C. that I've ever seen!
Brittany: I was watching MTV and they came on, and I thought to myself, We need to see that band, because I really liked "Blueside." I won a VIP pass one time at a show and we ended up becoming really good friends.
Natalie: And we've been in touch ever since. We made sure they knew we were in a band, but we kept our credibility. We couldn't do it groupie-style!
Brittany: So, then we were in L.A. recording the album for several months, and we were just like, "This tour has got to happen!"
Natalie: They're all just the sweetest, most genuine guys in the world.
Stacey: They're so friendly.

IS THERE ANYONE WHO INSPIRES YOU OR KEEPS YOU ON TRACK?

Natalie: All of us keep each other on track.
Brittany: If one of us isn't in the mood, another one is, so we push each other.
Natalie: We don't really separate. We're on the road all the time. We live together. We try to make it as private as we can while we're on the road. We try not to get caught up in peer pressure.
Brittany: We're always together. We're always making sure that we're all in line.

CosmoGirl managed to get the scoop from Rooney's lead singer, Robert Schwartzman, about why they chose these once-fans to get the crowd going each night. Robert answers our bonus question!

YOU WERE FRIENDS WITH THE BRIDGES FIRST AND THEN YOU ASKED THEM TO COME ON TOUR WITH YOU. HOW DID THAT COME ABOUT?

Robert: So, check it out: The Bridges came to our first show — I think it was our first headline tour in 2003. They were fans of our first album and came from Alabama to Atlanta to see us play. They said they had a band and they were just getting together. So, we kept in touch and then, finally, it all got really good. We had wanted to do something with them and we've finally gotten to do it.
