It explores the lives of different teenagers and how the decisions they make, as well as their parents’ decisions, will affect them in the long run. Everything is going well for my character, and then she goes away to band camp and gets pregnant. Then her whole world begins to cave in. She’s confused and goes through a very sad stage. Basically, the show is my character deciding whether or not to keep the baby, and what will happen with her life if she does.

It’s very controversial, with tons of drama, but there are no drugs or alcohol, which is pretty cool. But really, it's just so true to life. There are so many conflicts that I think teenagers will relate to. Like, my parents on the show are getting divorced. Each character is completely different, and they all go through stuff that really happens in everyday life.
