smiling!

July 14, 2006 at 7:46PM by Unknown Unknown |

I'm excited today and not just because it's Friday! Confession time. I like to think I'm crafty. I can bead, make friendship bracelets, and do lanyards with the best of them. (I taught crafts at an awesome summer camp for five years.) But, I can't get into scrapbooking. I bought all the stuff and try to make the pages look cute. I end up thinking the whole page is ugly and looked better in my head. The scrap booking stuff sits in a corner in my room taking up space.

Enter Smilebox. This hot web site is taking greeting cards/scrapbooking pages to a new level. It lets you choose from hundreds of cute backgrounds and then you add your own words! Then you can place YOUR photos into the creation. Cool huh? I think so. You can then print out the pages or e-mail them to your friends and family.

Right now, it's available as a test version for FREE.

It's a huge upgrade from cheesy electronic cards. And I find it more fun than adding comments to Facebook photo albums.

It's only $1.99 to own the fancy version of the design. Cheaper than fancy paper, special scissors, and stickers. I approve.

PS. You can even add background music for e-mail creations!
